Coastline Federal Credit Union still offers the best interest rate for their long term certificates of deposit. This money in the bank deal is divided in to three tiers, the first one is their Petite Share CD with a minimum deposit of $40,000 to open, then Jumbo CD which requires you to deposit a minimum of $75,000, and the IRA CD that requires you to deposit a minimum of $1,000. The following are the current CD rates:

48 month 1.75% APY

60 month 2.75% APY

In case you decide to withdraw some funds before the maturity date, expect that penalties will be applied. The interest rates listed above are subject to change anytime so make sure to always check it on the credit union’s website.

Coastline Federal Credit Union membership is open to individuals who work, live, attend school, or worship in the counties of St. John, Nassau, Duval, Clay, or Baker. Relatives of existing members are also elligible to join the credit union. You may download the application form online but you need to visit the branch to complete the application. Along with the application form you also need to submit a copy or present the following documents: Driver’s License, Social Security Number, and $5 as your initial deposit. You also need to bring supporting identification, such as your school ID or Employee ID, if the address on your driver’s license is not current,.
