You can start earning these best CD rates when you open an account and make an initial deposit of $1,000. You must also maintain this balance or have a higher deposit to earn these best CD rates. The earnings of this money in the bank deal is paid every month. You may request to have your dividends deposited to your SPCO Credit Union savings, checking, money market account, or have it mail to you by check.

The credit union may impose a penalty when you withdraw funds before the maturity date. Your certificate of deposit account automatically renews as soon as it matures but the credit union provides a grace period to give you a chance to decide if you want to renew your CD account or just withdraw without penalty.
