5-month CD of Coventry Credit Union Yields 4.75%
The Coventry Credit Union in Rhode Island provides the top CD rates at 4.75% APY on a 5-month term. They are available for a minimum deposit of $1000 with no maximum limits. The rates will last until December 19, 2008.
The branch is also offering a New Sign up reward of $50 credited to a direct deposit opened. Gift certificates worth $25 are also awarded to the first 100 new members of the union.
The requirements for membership qualification are not so clear. It will be best to contact the office of the union to clarify their eligibility requirements. They collect $5 membership fee and requires one to deposit at least $5 to the shares savings account.
They have offices in Manville, West Greenwich, Coventry, and West Warwick in Rhode Island.
