California Credit Union Offers High Yield Jumbo CD at 4.5% APY for 7-month Term
California Credit Union members have a better rate to consider for the Jumbo promotional certificates now being offered with 4.5% APY for a 7-month term and 4.8% for a 37-moth term.
The special CD programs are available for both IRA share and regular certificates. The CU requires a minimum deposit of $100,000 with yields of 50 basis points or lower for a minimum of $1000.
Members of the Parent Teacher Association, Parent Teacher Student Association, and television contributors are eligible for the program. The union will be glad to answer inquiries from interested parties at their main office in Glendale California. They also have branches in Torrance, Encino, Pasadena, Northills, and Los Angeles.
BauerFinancial and Bankrate.com gave California CU ratings of 5 stars and 3 stars, respectively, last June of this year.
The union has a declared has a member base of 70,210 and assets amounting to $1.31 billion. Charter # 60784 of the NCUA covers the California Credit Union.
