Dime Savings Bank kicked off with its CD offerings with very attractive yields of 4.25% APY for the 9-month term. The certificate doesn’t require a checking account and only asks for a minimum deposit of $500. The bank offers the Certificate of Deposit nationwide.
Interested individuals may utilize the online facilities of the bank to open an account. Upon approval, the certificate can be funded via ACH transfer.
Dime Saving Bank allots 10 days of grace period upon maturity of the account. It imposes a penalty of 1 month simple interest for early withdrawal. The account holder needs to issue a written request to close the account via mail or fax in case a branch visit is not possible.
