FedChoice Federal Credit Union runs a limited CD special that yields top cd rates of 5% APY for a 5-year term and 4% APY for a 24-month term. These CD programs require a new money deposit of at least $500.
The union also gives 5.05% and 4.05% APY for a $50K deposit staying on 5-year and 2-year term, respectively.
Washington DC, Pennsylvania, and Baltimore federal resident employees and annuitants are eligible to join the union. This also extends to their families.
