Not sure where the following information was obtained, but Federal Trust is not offering a CD at 4.5% at this time. Please remove the ad and advice how soon will you update this information.

Federal Trust Bank in Florida offers 36-month Special with CD Rates at 4.5%
The Federal Trust Bank in Florida is pushing for a 36-month special with a certificate of deposit rate at 4.5% APY. This rate is also effective for their 48-month and 5 year CD offerings. One can open an account for a minimum deposit of $500. A 6-month interest penalty is imposed for early withdrawals.

The bank also has top cd rates for its 12-month program with gains of 3.75% APY.

A branch visit is necessary to complete the application for an account. They have offices spread across Central Florida specifically I n Eustis, Palm Coast, New Smyrna Beach, Sanford, and Winter Park.

The BauerFinancial gives the bank a poor rating with 0 stars so it will be wise to stay within the FDIC limits. Last November, the Hartford Financial Services acquired Federal Trust. Hartford has been buying problem banks to qualify for the Tarp Funds assistance.

The Federal Trust Bank is insured with the FDIC since 1998 with certificate # 32580.
