National CD Bank still offers 5.00% APY CD Deals
The National City Bank continues to offer attractive CD specials. The rates are a bit lower than October but they remain to be very competitive. The 5% APY is good for the 36-month term, 4.50% APY for 18 and 24 months, and 4% APY for a 12-month term. These rates will be effective until November 22.
The CD promo is can be availed for a minimum deposit of $10000 with checking. Clients need to have an existing saving or checking account. A new checking account for a minimum deposit of $1500 can also be opened. Free checking does not qualify for the promo.
The CD rates are lower by 25 basis points for those without a checking account. It will be 20 basis points lower for accounts with $2500 minimum deposit.
The CD programs are only available where the bank has its branches. Their offices are located in WI, PA, OH, MO, MI, KY, IL, IN, and FL. It will be best to verify with the bank.
