Region Banks Rate Changes for Second Chance CD Programs
Rate changes were made by Region Bank for its special Second Chance certificates offered in different states. The best CD rates remain in Houston being pushed at 5.00% APY for a 48-month term and 4.50% APY for 16-month offering.
The yields in Memphis are a bit lower with 4.5% APY for the 48-month period and 4.24% APY for their 16-month term.
Second Chance CDs are designed for consumers who might want to opt to adjust their rate one time for the prevailing rates. It must be noted that the maturity date of the account will also be moved.
These certificates can be availed with a minimum deposit of $10,000 together with a checking account. The certificates are also available as IRA’s with at least $4000 of deposit.
