RomAsia Bank consumers can take advantage of the range of certificates with the best CD rates. The bank offers 4.05% APY for 6-month term, 4.1% APY 9-month special, 4.25% APY for 1 year and 13-month deal, 4.35% for the 18-month CD, and 4.5% for the 2-year term.
These certificates require a checking or savings account with the bank or else the rate is lower by 1%. The initial deposit is only for $50 while the CD deposit entails $2500. Free checking may also qualify.
The bank is relatively new in the market with offices located in Monmouth Junction in New Jersey. It is insured with the FDIC with certificate # 58702) since June 2008.
