San Diego Metropolitan Credit Union with CD Interest Rates at 4.5% APY for 1 year Term
The San Diego Metropolitan Credit Union invites interested individuals to take advantage of their top CD rates now at 4.25% APY for a 1 year term and 4% APY for a 6-month program. The rates can be enhanced by as much as 0.25% if account holders will open a qualifying checking account.
These certificates of deposit are also available as IRA certificates. It will be best to confirm with the union up to when they are running the promotion but these best cd rates are listed on their website as of December 28, 2008.
San Diego county residents and employees are eligible to join the credit union. The membership is easy and only requires a minimum balance of $10 in their regular savings account.
