Top CD Rates in Pennsylvania: Certificates of Deposit range from 1.70% APY to 4.00% APY with Police and Fire FCU

Police and Fire Federal Credit Union still push for their very competitive certificates of deposit. Their best cd rates kicks of at 1.70% APY for their 3-month CD program and peaks at 4.00% APY for a 5 year CD.

The CD rates above can be enjoyed for a minimum deposit of $2,500. These interest rates can also be acquired through IRAs. The figures above are still posted on their website as of October 22 but can be changed by the union any time.

The cd interes rates have gone down the past few months but their short to long term certificates remain to be very competitive.

There is an online application for the certificate of deposit but you must be a member to use it. Once you are a member of the credit union and have a liquid account with them, you can transfer money from your account to fund the CD via ACH transfer.

Aside from firefighters and police, the credit union also welcomes some select employee groups and accredited associations. You can see the full details of membership on their website. It will be best if you will verify with the credit union first if the association you are joining is really accredited with the credit union.
