Consumers in Florida, Downstate NY, New Jersey, and Massachusetts may enjoy an attractive CD special from Trustco Bank with a 4% APY for a 6-month term. The certificate requires a checking account and a minimum deposit of $500. It is also available as an IRA certificate.

The Vermont’s and New York’s Capital Region offers a lower gain of 2.9% APY.
