Account holders can enjoy the current interest rates if they at least complete 12 purchases using their debit card signing at the point of sale. They also need to make at least 1 ACH automatic debit or set up a direct deposit.

The best checking account can be opened with a minimum initial funding of $100. The bank does not collect any monthly service fees and they do not impose any balance requirements. Account holders can also use the bills payment system.
