5.01% APY Offered by Community State Bank for the Reward Checking Account in Wisconsin
The Community State Bank is still pushing for their best reward checking account that pays 5.01% APY for balances through $25000 and gives 0.50% for any amount above this ceiling.
Aside from the best interest rates, the checking account also refunds ATM fees of up to $20 per cycle. This requires fulfillment of certain criteria which include opting for electronic statement, using the Visa Check card for at least 12 purchases, and completion of an ACH debit or direct deposit.
The rate will be 0.15% in case the above requirements are not met by the account holder.
All it takes to open an account is $100. The bank does not collect any monthly service charge.
If you are planning to open multiple accounts, this one is not for you. The Community State Bank limits one account per social security number.
A branch visit is necessary to open an account. Consumers can go to their offices in Paddock Lake, Waterford, Sturtevant, Rochester, Mt. Pleasant, Kansasville, Union Grove, and Burlington.
