Bank of Sierra in California Gives 4.51% APY to Reward Checking Account
The Bank of Sierra in California gives its consumers their best checking account with 4.51% APY for balances of up to $25K and 1.01% for balances above this limit. The account requires a minimum of $50 for its initial deposit.
The monthly conditions for the best reward checking account of the bank is for the consumer to make 12 purchases using the check card, complete one bill payment online, and make a direct or automatic payment. The rate drops to 0.12% if these are not met.
Multiple accounts can be opened by the consumer and may enjoy the very competitive rates as long as the program requirements are met. The account does not collect monthly service charges and does not impose any minimum balance needs.
The deal does not mention about ATM refunds like the usual reward checking accounts in the market. This may be the way of the bank to give better returns to the account holders.
Upon verification with the bank, the offer is good for any interested consumer from any US state. All applications can also be completed online with facilities for ACH funding.
