Account holders may qualify for the rewards checking account promo by setting up a direct deposit of at least $100 every month. The direct deposit may come from your social security, pension, paycheck, or any other source of your regular income.

The direct deposit must be executed by the account holder’s employer or by an outside agency. ATM deposits, account transfers, and funding coursed through a branch are not considered by the bank as direct deposits.

The bank will post the $100 checking account bonus to the account upon the verification of the direct deposit. This process usually takes within a week after verification of the funding. The $100 credit must be reported using form 1099.
