Reward Checking with Catholic Credit Union Earns 4.11% APY in Washington State
The Catholic Credit Union offers its best reward checking account for its members. The program is called Elite Checking and earns 4.11% APY for balances through $35000 and 1.11% for amounts above this ceiling. The account requires a minimum deposit of $1000
The account also refunds ATM fees incurred nationwide and may total up to $25 per cycle.
The Elite Checking requires account holders to complete at least 12 or more debit card purchases, an automatic transfer or a direct deposit, online access of the account, and electronic statement. The rate drops to 0.11% if these requirements are not met.
Not all Catholics may apply for the best checking account program as one may assume. The offer is only good for members in Washington State.
Residents, employees, students, and church goers in the Central Washington Counties like Yakima, Klickitat, Kittitas, Grant, Franklin, Douglas, Chelan, Benton, and Adams are eligible to sign up. The credit union requires a deposit to a Primary Share Savings Account for at least $25.
Interested individuals may also inquire through the Catholic Credit Union offices in Ellensburg and Yakima, Washington.
The credit union is registered with the NCUA under its charter # 68061.
