Countybank is pushing for their best checking account coined Kasasa Cash. The money in the bank deal gives 4.75% APY for balances through $25,000. Amounts above the cap earn 1.01%.

The bank has certain monthly requirements to be met by the account holder so the best interest rates can be enjoyed: make at least 10 purchases with the debit card, complete an automatic payment or a direct deposit, use online banking, and opt for electronic statements. The rate drops to 0.02% in case these requirements are not met.

Interested individuals can take advantage of this reward checking account with an opening deposit of at least $100. The bank does not collect any monthly fees nor do they set a minimum balance requirement.

It will be best to check with the bank if the Online Bill Pay facility is free because they may be charging $7.95 for using the service every month.

The Kasasa Cash Page has an application form which can be accessed by interested parties. According to a customer service representative this best checking account offer is no longer nationwide since they are not accepting applications coming from the west coast.

Kasasa is not a different entity from First ROI and BancVue which are the prime movers for reward checking accounts. The two companies still create, market, and service the products of Kasasa. It must just be a fancier name they want to provide for reward checking accounts.
