South Division Credit Union gives 4.01% APY for their reward checking account
The South Division Credit Union offers members a high yield checking account called Freedom Green Checking that can earn as much as 4.01% APY for balances up to $25,000. Aside from the current interest rate, the bank also refunds ATM fees incurred nationwide for a max of $25 per cycle.
The best checking account with the credit union gives the highest interest rates if the account holders can meet the monthly requirements:
Make 12 signature purchases using the VISA debit card
Set up an ACH or a direct deposit for at least $250

The checking account requires an initial funding of at least $50. You need to have a balance of $300 after six months to avoid a $6 service charge. The credit union does not charge any monthly fees and do not impose minimum balance requirements. Account holders also have access to STAR, CO-OP, and CASH AMERICA ATMs which are surcharge free.
South Division Credit Union welcomes individuals practically from all states with zip codes between 01000 and 99999. Children can sign up for the Kid’s Club; students (first checking and savings for students),; and adults can enjoy the benefits of full range of products.
