WainWright Bank Gives $100 Checking Account Bonus

Consumers of the WainWright Bank in Massachusetts may enjoy their best checking account with a bonus of $100. The reward comes in the form of a $200 Savings Bonds Series EE which has a worth of half its face value. The bonus is given for opening a Value Checking Account with Direct Deposit.

The account holder must have the following to acquire the bonus:

  • Public assistance or Social Security Direct Deposit credited to the account
  • Bond can only be issued on a per household basis
  • The bond will be sent within 3 months after opening the account
  • The checking account must be in good standing during the mailing of the bond.
  • IRS reporting will be made as per the bond received
  • The Personal Value Checking Account only requires a deposit of at least $10 to initiate. An account holder must choose between $500 minimum balance requirement and a direct deposit to waive the $6 monthly service charge. Clients who are below 19 years old or 65 and over are not required to pay the monthly service fee.

    Interested consumers may visit the branches of the bank in Cambridge, Boston, and other Massachusetts cities to apply for an account.

    The bank is insured with the FDIC through certificate # 27009.
