WaMu Pays $100 Bonus for Checking Account
Washington Mutual is very active with its campaign through emails and mailers for consumers to take advantage of their $100 best checking account reward.
Consumers will need a special promo code to enjoy the offer. According to the bank’s website, the targeted offer will have consumers who opened the account in person to present the original mailer they received. Account holders who opened their checking account through the toll free number will be able to find the promo code on the letter mailed to them. Customers who opened their accounts online must also present the mail sent to them.
The checking account requires a new money minimum deposit of $100. The reward will be credited to the account within 12 weeks after opening. The bonus program should be declared and is subjected to requisite IRS reporting.
Chase who acquired WaMU seems to have no plans of ending the promo soon. Washington Mutual checking account does not require any direct deposit nor does it require any monthly fees.
The checking account also provides lifetime free checks and does not charge customers for wire transfers to any destination around the globe.
