Rome Federal Credit Union is still offering an attractive interest rate for their money market account. This money in the bank deal has an interest rate of 1.01% APY when you open an account and make an initial deposit of $2,000. You must also maintain an average daily balance of $2,000 or more in order to earn this best money market rate.

This money market deal allows you to make up to 3 withdrawals per statement cycle. The minimum amount of withdrawal for each transaction is $250. You are also allowed to make up to six online, pre-authorized, automatic, or over the phone transfers per statement cycle.

The dividends earned on your money market account are compounded and paid every month. You can take advantage of their money market account features like monitoring your account through their virtual branch and even make bill payments. You can also view you monthly statement anytime you want by subscribing to electronic bank statement. Rome Federal Credit Union membership is open to employees of Revere Copper and Brass, Revere Copper Products, Inc., Rome Housing Authority and MA Polce, Toccolano Club, Jervis Library, American Allow Steel, Jest Saw, Kris-Tech Wire, M & L Trucking, Davidson’s Chevrolet, Navelli Cadiliac, Rome Memorial Hospital Employees and the entire City of Rome Employees. Family members of those employees are also eligible to join.

Individuals who want to apply for membership must visit the credit union’s office in Rome, New York. All you need to do is complete their membership application form and open a share savings account with a minimum opening balance of $25. Finally, submit a copy of your driver’s license, passport, or other government issued IDs with your current address listed. Rome Federal Credit Union was originally chartered in 1936 and was first named as Revere Rome Division Employees Federal Credit Union. In 1985, they have merged with Revere Employees Credit Union and finally became Rome Federal Credit Union and expanded their membership field. The credit union is insured with the National Credit Union and has a charter number of 1810.
