The Heart Center Federal Credit Union continues to offer competitive interest rates for their money market account. You can earn an interest rate of 1.01% APY when you open an account and deposit a minimum of $2,000. You are allowed to make a deposit on your money market account every month for a minimum of $250 and maximum of $1,000 per transaction. The earning of this money market deal is compounded and paid every quarter.

In accordance to Federal regulations, you are permitted to make up to 6 withdrawals or transfers per statement cycle. These can be made by means of pre-authorized, telephone, automatic, check, draft, or debit card. The maximum withdrawals or transfers that you can make every cycle is $500. Excessive withdrawals or transfers will have a charge of $2.50 fee for every transaction made. Take note that the money market rate may change anytime without prior notice, you may call the credit union to get the most latest interest rate.

The Heart Center Federal Credit Union membership is open to full time and part time employees of St. Francis Hospital, CHS Service Center in West Islip and Rockville Center in New York, and Nursing Sisters Home Care in Westbury, New York. Immediate family or household members are also eligible to join.
