This money in the bank deal lets you earn an interest rate of 1.00% APY for balances of $500 to $499,999 and 1.10% APY on balances of $500,000 and above. The credit union does not charge any penalties in case you decide to make a withdrawal on your money market account.

For individuals who want to take advantage of this best money market rate you are required to deposit a minimum of $500 to open an account. You are also required to maintain this balance every month for you not to be charged a $5 monthly fee. Account holders can do up to 6 transactions to a third party per statement cycle as mandated by the federal law.
