Consumers in Montana has a money in the bank with the Personal Money Market Account offered by Treasure State Bank that gives 0.95% APY for balances of $1,000 to $100,000 and 1.10% APY for deposits of $100,000.01 and more. You can open the account with an initial deposit of $1,000 and is also the minimum balance you need to earn the APY.
In case your money market account balance drops below $1,000, you will be charged $10. There is also a $10 service fee when you go over the allowable transaction of six per month.
