Platinum Federal Credit Union is pushing for their best interest rate money market account. The credit union has the following best money market rate:

$0 to $999.99           0.60% APY
$1,000 to $4,999.99      0.75% APY
$5,000 to $9,999.99      0.90% APY
$10,000 to $24,999.99    1.06% APY
$25,000 and above          1.21% APY

The credit union does not require monthly service fees on this account. You are required to deposit a minimum of $1,000 tom open an account. The account holder also needs to maintain a daily balance of $1,000 otherwise you will be charge a $10 fee per statement cycle. You are also allowed to make up to 6 transfer or withdrawals per statement cycle. The good ting about this is that the bank does not require dollar limitations for withdrawals and deposits. You can also access your account through online banking. Take note that the money market rate is subject to change anytime without prior notice.
