1.25% APY top money market rates with ANECA Federal Credit Union in LA

ANECA Federal Credit Union offers the best interest rates for their money market accounts. The money in the bank deal is tierred as follows:

$2,500 to $9,999 0.85% APY
$10,000 to $24,999 1.00% APY
$25,000 to $49,999 1.15% APY
$50K and more 1.25% APY

You can open an account with a minimum opening deposit of $2,500. This is also the amount you need to maintain in order to avoid a monthly service charge of $10. Other perks of this account include free use of online baking, free scanned copy of checks online, and electronic bank statements. You can also make additional deposits any time without having to worry about per deposit fees.

The money market rates table still has the above interest rates but they can be changed any time. Be sure to contact them prior to account opening. You can call the bank through 1877-263-2248.

If you are not yet a member of ANECA FCU, you may be eligible to join them if you are living, working, studying, attending church, or doing business in the parishes of DeSoto, Bossier, and Cado in Louisiana. You can download a membership application form online then send it via mail to one of their offices or bring it in person to one of their branches. You will be asked for a membership fee of $5 and a small deposit of $5 into a share savings account.

ANECA Federal Credit Union has offices in Shreveport and Bossier, LA. Aside from their offices, ANECA FCU can also be accessed via the Credit Union Service Centers.

The credit union is covered by the NCUA but you can avail of extra insurance if you want to for an extra cost.
