Quad Cities Postal Credit Union offers competitive interest rates for their money market account which has the following current interest rates:

  • $2,500 to $24,999.99              1.01% APY
  • $25,000 to $49,999.99            1.01% APY
  • $50,000 and above                  1.26% APY

This money market account requires you to deposit a minimum of $2,500 to open an account. Take note that the current interest rate is subject to change anytime without prior notice. The website did not provide detailed information with regard to their money market account, but you can call the credit union to check for those information.

Membership with Quad Cities Postal Credit Union is open to postal employees of the state of Iowa and Illinois. They also welcome employees in Rock Island city. Members with relatives who want to join the credit union are also eligible to join. You are required to visit the credit unions office which is headquartered in Moline, Illinois. You will then be required to open a share savings account with an initial deposit of $25.00 which you need to maintain on the account. After this fill up the membership application form.
