Locoga Federal Credit Union provides attractive interest rates for their money market account. The credit union has the following current money market rates:

  • $2,500 to $9,999.99 0.833% APY
  • $10,000 to $24,999.99 1.185% APY
  • $25,000 to $49,999.99 1.306% APY
  • $50,000 and above 1.508% APY

In order for you to start earning this best interest rate, you must at least deposit a minimum of $2,500 to open an account and maintain this balance. The credit union allows you to make up to 6 transfers or withdrawals per month as mandated by the federal law. In case you exceed the limit, fees will be applied against your account. Please note that the current interest rates offered by the credit union is subject to change anytime without prior notice.

You can become a member of the Locoga Federal Credit Union by visiting their office and open a share savings account. The credit union is located in Valdosta, Georgia. You must bring your driver’s license, picture ID, and social security card. The minimum deposit to open a share savings account is $25 plus pay a one time membership fee of $5.
