The First East Side Saving Bank is offering an attractive yield for its money market account which gains up to 3.75% APY for accounts with balances of $100K and up. This is a tiered scheme which also gives balances of $25K to $99K a 3.25% APY.
The account only requires a $2500 to start but it will be wise to call the bank for the going on rates since it is subject to change any time. Interest is compounded on a daily basis and is credited to the account every month.
The minimum balance of $2500 must be met to avoid the monthly fee of $10. The account holder also gets the fist book of checks free aside from having free access to online banking and gold phone access any time of day. Money market account holders can also opt for electronic statements.
