California-based Seacoast Commerce Bank is still offering their best money market account deal with current interest rates of 2.05% APY for deposits between $25,000 and $50,000.

The money market account, Personal or Business, requires new money deposit of $25,000 to open. This is a good money in the bank deal if you want to stay above the $25K line so you can avoid the $25 monthly service charge. The lower tier for this money market account is at $5000 which gains 1.05% APY.

This money market account gives consumers limited check writing privileges. One downside of this deal is that it doesn’t have an ACH facility in place so you can do electronic transfers.

The money market offer was kicked off last June according to a customer service representative. They launched it together with some competitive certificate of deposit programs. The offer is good for people from all states.
