The account allows for six withdrawals every month. Six of this may be made using your checks. In case you go overboard the monthly limit, you need to pay $5 for every transaction in excess of the monthly limit.

You can monitor your account through monthly account statements which can be online or a regular paper statement sent to you via mail. Images of the checks you issued will come with the monthly statement.

Being a money market account holder gives you access to free internet banking. You will not have access to the bills payment system though.

There are no online application forms on the bank’s website so it seems you need to drop by one of their offices to open an account. Their main office is in Lake Oswego just south of Portland. They have another branch at Mercantile Village.

The soundness and safety of the bank get good reviews from bankrate.com and BauerFinancial which both issued 4 stars.

The Bank of Oswego is insured with the FDIC with certificate number 57877.
