Metrex Federal Credit Union invites its members to take advantage of their high interest savings account under their share savings. This money in the bank deal is tiered and has the following current interest rates:

• $5.00 to $500          0.51% APY
• $500 and above       1.01% APY

You can start earning this high interest savings account when you open an account and deposit a minimum of $100. This balance must also be maintained to keep your membership with the credit union active. The dividends of this money in the bank deal is compounded daily and paid quarterly. Deposits on your savings account can be made in person, by mail, or through payroll deduction.

The Holiday Savings Club Account is a special account which also earns the same interest rate with their share savings. This account can be opened any time with a minimum opening balance of $100. The earnings of this club savings account will be mailed to your or transferred to your share savings or checking account. You can also make deposits through payroll deduction, in person, or by mail. Please be reminded that the interest rates of all deposit accounts are subject to change anytime without prior notice.

You are eligible to be a member of Metrex Federal Credit Union if you are an employee of Fleet Maintenance in Edison City, Research and Testing Lab at Maplewood City, PSEG in Irving, and Public Service Metro Division in Clifton, New Jersey. Employees relatives are also eligible to join.
