This best savings account lets you earn an interest rate of 1.15% APY when you open an account today. I suggest that you visit the bank’s office when opening an account since you will only be required to deposit a minimum of $100 to open an account. If you do not have time, you can also apply online, but you will be required to deposit a minimum of $5,000 to open your new savings account.
This high yield savings account requires you to maintain a minimum daily balance of $300 to avoid monthly service fee. You can also make up to 3 withdrawals per month. If you exceed the limit a fee will be charged for every withdrawal you make except if you maintain an average daily balance of $2,500 or higher then you get to enjoy unlimited withdrawals.
Another high yield savings account that the bank is offering is their Blue Savings Account. This money in the bank deal also earns you an interest rate of 1.15% APY. The best thing about this account is that you earn the best interest rate at the same time you get to help others by supporting one of the charitable institutions like WakeMed Children’s Hospital, Duke Children’s Hospital, or UNC Children’s Hospital.
The same with their Premium Savings Account, you are required to deposit a minimum of $300 to open an account when you visit their office. If the account was opened online then the minimum opening balance will be $5,000. You also need to maintain an average daily balance of $300 to avoid monthly service fee. You are allowed to make up to 3 withdrawals per month, but if you do not want to be charge of excess withdrawal then you must maintain an average daily balance of $2,500 or higher.
