Direct Deposit with WTDirect Savings Gives $75 Bonus High Interest Savings Account Holder
The WTDirect is giving away $75 of bonus for people who will open a high yield savings account and meet the qualifications of the current money in the bank deal promo. The savings interest rate with this bank is currently at 1.76% APY for balances of over $10K.
The ad does for this does not appear on the website of the bank but we were able to confirm with the customer service line of the bank. Once a consumer is an account holder he or she can log in to the WTDirect online and click the link to the $75 Direct Deposit Bonus which can be found on the Account Summary.
Here are some criteria that must be met by the account holder:
The WTDirect Savings account must be opened by 31 July 2009 and must have a minimum balance of $10000 The account holder must make a direct deposit to the account between 1 July and 30 September 2009. This should be at least $300 monthly The Bonus will be credited to the account around 15 October 2009 A direct deposit should be initiated via pension, social security, or employment which are considered third party sources of income The consumer must maintain the $10K balance in the account for the three months of the promo. The customer service representative also clarified that transfers through the ACH services are not considered direct deposits.
The 1.76% APY is a good offer today but you will only earn about 0.15% for balances below $10K. WTDirect is also known to have very good documentation and does not do a hard credit pull.
